HOUSTON – At least one person was killed and three others got injured in a three-vehicle crash in Katy Monday night.
The fatal crash happened in the 1800 block of Fry Road.
According to HCSO and witnesses at the scene, a silver sedan traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a Honda minivan making a left turn from McDonalds.
The minivan was attempting to cross southbound lanes when the high speed silver sedan struck it, causing it to carry into northbound lanes. The vehicle was then struck by a Dodge Challenger.
Witnesses told that three teens inside the silver sedan were likely high on marijuana, as the vehicle smelled like freshly smoked drugs.
HCSO traffic units are investigating the incident.
