HOUSTON – Police are searching for a group of teens after an elderly man was shot and killed in north Houston Monday night.
The incident happened near the intersection of Fulton and East Crosstimbers Streets.
A witness told police that the man was walking when he was approached by a group of four female and two male teenagers. They started harassing him and the victim swung his cane trying to get them away.
As the group started walking away, one male turned around and shot the victim in the chest.
HFD transported the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Officers are searching for a surveillance footage of the incident. There is no clear motive of the shooting at this time.
