A/C repairman shot dead in SW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – The search is on to find a suspect who confronted an A/C repairman and shot him to death in southwest Harris County Thursday night.

The shooting happened in the 3900 block of Summit Valley Drive.

According to deputies, the victim was working at a residence and as he went out near his truck, an unknown suspect shot him several times for unknown reasons.

The suspect was described as a male black with an afro, wearing red shorts and a black shirt.

The victim was transported via Life Flight and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

While the deputies were in the area, they saw a male matching the description getting into a vehicle a block over. He fled on foot when deputies attempted to make contact.

A perimeter was set up by deputies in the area but they were not able to locate the suspect.
