HOUSTON – Police have arrested a suspect for involvement in violent robbery at a tire shop in north Houston.
In a tweet, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said 20-year-old Andrew Isaish Garza has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The suspect appeared in court around 10:00pm last night and his bond was set at $60,000 for both counts.
Garza is accused of pistol-whipping one of the tire shop employees and throwing a woman to the ground during the robbery.
The suspect had been out on bond awaiting a court date after he was arrested in January for alleged criminal mischief.
