HOUSTON – HPD officers are investigation after a man pulled a gun and fired a shot inside a popular Houston sushi restaurant.
Initially, Houston police got a panic alarm call at about 11:30 p.m. Monday night from the RA Sushi in the 3900 block of Westheimer Road.
Officers arrived to find that a male had displayed a gun and discharged it into the air inside the restaurant.
Police said quick thinking by 2 UFC fighters, who were out to dinner with a pair of women, led to the situation ending without injury.
The suspect is in custody and facing felony charges.
