Vacant building catches fire on North Freeway

HOUSTON – Firefighters came into action after a vacant office building went up in flames on the North Freeway service road early Monday. 

Fire crews went into defensive operation after the roof collapsed within minutes of their arrival.

There were about 65 firefighters at the scene. No injuries have been reported so far.

Arson units are investigating the cause of the fire.
