Teen girl shot, killed while walking her dog in Southwest Houston

HOUSTON – In a tragic incident in southwest Houston, a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed while she was out walking her dog Tuesday night. 

The shooting happened in the 15400 block of Park Manor. 

As per initial details, the family became concerned for the girl and went outside to find her and the dog. 

After searching the neighborhood, the girl was located with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigation is underway to ascertain motive behind the shooting.
