Man in critical condition after deputy-involved shooting

HARRIS COUNTY – A man is critical condition after confrontation with deputies in northwest Harris County. 

The sheriff’s office said it started when a woman called 911 and complained that her ex-boyfriend was stalking her.

Deputies arrived at the location and found him behind a Kroger grocery store in the 18100 block of Tuckerton Road.

Deputies attempted to speak to the male, however, he stated that he was suicidal and was going to shoot himself or be shot by the deputies.

Three deputies shot the man when he raised the gun towards them.

HCSO Homicide and the District Attorney’s office are handling the investigation.
