Fire damages house, two cars at Hartwick Street

HOUSTON – At least two cars were completely destroyed and a house was damaged after a fire erupted in the 1600 block of Hartwick Street early Monday. 

Aldine, Westfield, Eastex, and Little York FDs responded to reports of a house fire around 3:30 a.m.

Arriving companies located a heavily involved structure on the property which was extending to cars and adjacent structures.

It took firefighters about 20 to 30 minutes to control the blaze. 

Authorities said the damage to the residence was contained to the Eastern side of the residence and two vehicles were completely destroyed. 

No injuries were reported in the incident.
