Motorcyclist killed in crash on Highway 6

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan on State Highway 6.

Investigators told a KIA sedan was making a left turn from Highway 6 to Barker Oaks Drive and a BMW motorcycle was traveling at a high speed southbound. The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the sedan, causing it to rotate and face back northbound.

The impact caused the rider of the motorcycle to be thrown and was declared dead at the scene by HFD. 

It was reported that the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet.

At the moment, there are no charges against the driver.
