Motorcycle rider killed in crash in Spring area

SPRING – A motorcycle rider has died after he was thrown from his bike during a crash with an SUV in Spring area Tuesday night. 

The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Louetta and Stuebner Airline.

Deputies said a small SUV ran the red light, going eastbound on Louetta turning left onto Stuebner airline. That is when a motorcyclist collided with the vehicle while crossing the green light.

The biker was declared deceased at the scene by EMS. 

At this time, the driver is cooperating with the investigators.
