Driver killed after running red light and crashing on Fondren Road

HOUSTON – A driver was killed after running a red light and crashing into another vehicle in the 6900 block of Fondren Road early Thursday. 

As per details, a white dodge pickup was traveling eastbound on Bellaire Boulevard and at the same time a Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Fondren Road.

The Honda Accord went through the red light and struck the Dodge pickup.

The male driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased at the location. Investigators said the driver of the dodge pickup remained at the scene and did not show signs of intoxication.

At this time, there are no charges against the dodge pickup driver.

Investigation is underway.
