One man killed, another injured in Midtown shooting

HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting in a heavily populated area in Midtown Sunday night.

The shooting occurred around 10:40 p.m. at a CVS pharmacy on the corner of Fannin and Elgin. 

Arriving officers located one adult male deceased with a gunshot wound to the head.

Another injured adult male was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers are looking for surveillance footage to obtain more information regarding the incident.
