20-year-old man killed during home invasion in NE Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – Authorities are investigating a deadly home invasion in north east Harris County. 

The incident was reported in the 11900 block of Kingslake Forest Drive around 11:26 p.m. on Wednesday. 

According to deputies, the 20-year-old victim was inside the home that he shares with his brother and sister-in-law. 

The victim called his brother who was at the hospital after the victim’s sister-in-law was taken for an unrelated medical issue.  

The victim told his brother he thought someone was breaking into the home. The brother told the victim to call 911. 

When deputies arrived, they found a broken window and as the brother of the victim arrived at the house, deputies made entry and discovered the victim dead inside the bedroom with a single gunshot wound.

No suspect information is available at the moment.
