Three people injured in shooting at Collingsworth Street

HOUSTON – Houston Police Department units are investigating a shooting at Collingsworth Street.

According to police, a total of three people were shot around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. They have been transported by ambulance and are expected to survive.

Police said, before the shooting, the suspect and two victims got into a physical altercation. The victim punched the suspect in the face and the suspect went to his vehicle and grabbed a gun.

Victims tried to flee the area but were both shot by the suspect. 

An innocent female standing across the street near a gas station was also hit during the shooting.

Investigation is underway.
