Pizza delivery driver shot multiple times in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was shot several times and his car was stolen in southwest Houston late Thursday night.

The incident was reported at Clover Street and police believe it was a setup. 

Arriving officers located a male in his late 50’s with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by ambulance and is in critical condition at this time.

Police said the victim came to the location to deliver pizza. When he exited his vehicle, he was attacked by a suspect or suspects and was shot multiple times. The suspect(s) also took his vehicle.

Later, police found an abandoned vehicle at 3600 Nita Street and they believe it belongs to the victim as a Domino’s Pizza bag was seen laying on the sidewalk.

Search for the suspect(s) is underway.
