Man shot, killed while driving on Westpark Tollway

HOUSTON – Police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot and killed while driving on the Westpark Tollway near Fondren Monday night. 

Houston police officers were nearby when they head the gunshots. 

They searched the area and located a sedan off the roadway with a male victim inside. Officers applied a tourniquet and began life saving measures before HFD’s arrival. 

The victim was moved to a nearby trauma center where he was declared deceased.

According to police, multiple bullet holes are visible on the victim’s vehicle, whereas, evidence recovered from the scene indicates the shooting took place on the tollway.

Investigation is underway.
