Man in custody after barricading himself in Sugarland apartment

HOUSTON – A man has been taken into custody after he barricaded himself in an apartment in Sugarland Tuesday night. 

Neighbors told police that the man barricaded himself possibly after having some sort of domestic disturbance.

FBCSO called Swat team to the Griggs Point Lane for assistance and the man was eventually taken into custody.

Authorities said he may have been suffering a mental crisis. 

No charges have been filed against him at the moment.
