Suspect detained for stealing Pasadena hospital ambulance

HOUSTON – A suspect has been taken into custody for allegedly stealing ambulance from a hospital in Pasadena on Tuesday. 

Authorities said the suspect stole an ambulance from Bayshore Hospital and drove to his residence at 305 Willow Street.

Pasadena PD was requested after the ambulance service used the tracking device to locate the vehicle.

As the officers surrounded the residence, the suspect jumped out of the window where a K9 officer and arrest team took him into custody without incident.

The suspect will be taken to the hospital to be medically evaluated. The DA’s office has been contacted to determine charges against the suspect.
