Man shot, killed on Hurtgen Forest Road

HOUSTON – Houston Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed outside a convenience store in Houston’s south side late Sunday. 

According to HPD, the shooting was reported in the 7300 block of Hurtgen Forest Road around 10:48 p.m. 

Arriving units located an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect is described as a male black who is believe to be 18 to 25 years old. 

Investigation is underway to determine motive of the shooting. Officers are also reviewing surveillance footage of the incident.
