18-year-old shot, injured at West Little York

HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to trace the suspects after an 18-year-old male sustained injuries in a shooting incident at 6261 W Little York.

According to police, the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the lower back, whereas, a 15-year-old boy also suffered some minor cuts.

During the investigation, the victims gave conflicting statements to the officers. 

One said they were buying narcotics at the circle K when someone followed them and opened fire and the other victim said they were buying things from the circle K before the shooting happened.

While attempting to flee from the scene, the victims crashed their vehicle into two trees in the center lane of Little York.

Police said both victims are expected to survive.
