Train derails in Alberta, Canada

A train derailed in central Alberta between Blackfalds and Lacombe in Canada on Friday evening (July 2).

Emergency crews attended to 23 train cars that derailed near Highway 2A, but only one of the oil-carrying cars had leaked.

Lacombe Mayor Grant Creasey informed on his Facebook account the cars contained primarily asphalt oil.
