Suspect surrenders before police after stabbing friend

HOUSTON – A suspect has been taken into custody after he barricaded himself inside a house in the 12000 block of New Rochelle Drive.

The man had barricaded himself hours after allegedly stabbing a friend twice on the property.

Officers responded before midnight following receiving reports of the incident.

According to officers, the suspect had called a friend over to help repair his vehicle when a disagreement between the two turned violent.

After officers cleared the scene, the suspect returned to the residence, and barricaded himself on the property.

Few moments later, the suspect surrendered peacefully before the police.  He has been taken into custody.

The officers also washed the suspect down since he seemed to have been covered in gasoline.
