Cars disabled on Beechnut Street due to flooding

HOUSTON –  Some roads in Houston are still impacted by the flooding.

Houston Fire Department was dispatched to a crash with extrication at Beechnut street between 610 and Newcastle.

Arriving companies located several vehicles disabled in flooded roadways.

No extrication was required, but motorists became disabled in heavy rains and flooded roadways.

Reportedly, parts of the roadway were at least 1-2 feet deep, making sedans and low clearance vehicles unable to continue on the road.
