Man injured in drive-by shooting on Oak street

HOUSTON – A 19-year-old male is recovering in the hospital after he was shot and injured during a drive-by shooting in the 800 block of Oak Street. 

When HPD units arrived at the location, they located the victim with a gunshot wound. 

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he is expected to survive.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a blue SUV driven by two Hispanic males.

Investigation into the incident is underway.
