Woman grazed in head after suspects open fire on car in Silver Creek

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a shooting incident early Thursday outside an apartment complex in the 5100 block of Silver Creek Drive.

Police said a family was just coming home from a family graduation party when a 2012 Chevy Tahoe came up, held an elderly female at gunpoint and then let her go.

The elderly female’s daughter saw the incident as she was parking the car and the suspects began shooting at her.

The daughter fled the scene to an unknown location where HFD treated her for a graze wound to the head.

The suspects are described as two male Hispanics in a Beige Chevy Tahoe.

Police said the suspects are armed and dangerous and potentially related to another shooting in South Houston.
