Shot spotter leads deputies to marijuana grow house in North of Houston

HOUSTON – Deputies in north Harris County were led to a grow house full of marijuana and narcotics after a sound of a gunshot was detected through the shot spotter system.

The grow house was found on Warwick near the Hardy Tollroad.

Captain J. Shannon of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office tweeted, “District 2 responded to a gunshot detected by the Shot Spotter system at Warwick and Hardy. They located a suspect & did a sweep for victims when they found a Marijuana grow house and other narcotics.”

He said two suspects have been detained and further investigation is underway.
