At least four people are dead and one injured in a shooting and explosion at a house in Woodlawn, Maryland on Saturday (May 8). The dead include two adult male victims, one adult female victim as well as the alleged shooter who was killed by Baltimore County police, the department said in a news release.
One adult male was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers arrived at the house at 0640 EDT (1040GMT) after neighbors reported a two alarm fire and as well as an active shooter. Police found the alleged gunman outside the home and shot and killed him, according to NBC.
Local news reports showed firefighters putting out a large fire that started in one townhome and then spread to two other residences nearby. The cause of the fire as well as the shooting remains unknown.
