Constables Arrest Employee Accused of Pocketing $14,000 from local Kroger gas station

HARRIS COUNTY- A former Kroger gas station employee was arrested and charged after being suspected of stealing cash provided by customers for gasoline.

On April 2, 2021, deputies responded to the Kroger located in the 3800 block of Atascocita Road in reference to a possible theft.

Adam Gonzalez, a cashier that works at the gas pumps was accused of taking approximately $14,000.00 in cash from customers over the past year.

Gonzalez was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Felony Aggregate Theft. His bond was set at $2,500.00.
