MISSOURI CITY – A teen entrepreneur has landed herself an amazing investment deal thanks to an Austin-based jewelry superstar.
Missouri City native, Tyla-Simone Crayton, 17 is CEO of her own wing-style sauce company, Sienna Sauce. On a recent episode of Shark Tank, Crayton scored a $100,000 investment with guest judge, jewelry maven Kendra Scott. Scott, who owns a billion-dollar brand, now owns 20 percent of Crayton’s company.

Crayton first created her own wing-style sauce when she was 8 years old. She and her family began selling wings out of their Sienna Plantation home and quickly turned it onto a business plan. Sienna Sauce was established when she was 14.
Sienna Sauce is available in three flavors: tangy, lemon pepper, and spicy. Currently, products are available on Amazon and in more than 70 independent stores and chains across Texas and the U.S. — including several H-E-B stores in the Houston area and at Manready Mercantile on South Congress Avenue in Austin.
