Woman wearing an ankle monitor arrested for aggravated assault

HARRIS COUNTY– A woman already donning an ankle monitor was taken into custody after allegedly punching a man when he coughed.

The suspect was arrested at a residence in the 18900 block of Woodglen Shadows Drive in Atascocita.

According to the victim, Patrice Grandy, 31 asked if he had COVID. He said Grandy then punched him in the chest and pointed a handgun at him.

Grandy was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and her bond was set at $25,000.
