Suspect taken into custody after police chase in Crosby Area

CROSBY – Earlier this morning, a reported domestic disturbance led to a chase and a suspect search in the Crosby area.

The pursuit started before when deputies were called to a hotel along Highway 90.  A woman reported a domestic disturbance and informed deputies her boyfriend fled in her car.

Deputies tried to flag down the white BMW sedan, but the suspect allegedly refused to stop starting a brief pursuit until he crashed near FM 2100.

The suspect attempted to flee on foot into a ditch until officers brought in a K-9 officer to further assist.

He was arrested and booked into the county jail.
