HOUSTON – An 11-year-old boy has been taken into custody for allegedly shooting at Houston police officers last week.
The shooting took place in the 43000 block of Aledo Street around 1:05 a.m. when officers arrived on the scene they saw a muzzle flash coming from an upstairs window.
As deputies approached for a closer look, a bullet whizzed by one of the officers causing a “take cover” response. SWAT and hostage negotiators were brought in to assist.=
Investigators say upon further questioning it was revealed the young boy was responsible for the shooting. He was arrested and charged with aggravated sault against a peace officer.
He was booked into Harris County Juvenile Probabtion.
