HOUSTON – Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Yakemah ‘Kemah’ Siverand is facing felony charges after his involvement in a street racing bust in Houston last Saturday.
According to Houston police say the 24-year-old initially stopped for officers, but then sped off for another mile before finally surrendering. He was then taken into custody for felony evading arrest.
Siverand posted his $2500 bond on the day of his arrest and has since then been released.
Court records say he is to remain in Houston but is only allowed to travel for football games and practice.
No word from Siverand’s attorney or the raiders on the charges.
