HOUSTON – Cedrick ‘Swab’ Cotton, 46, one-fourth of famed Houston R&B group Ideal was fatally stabbed outside of the Fondren Food Mart in Southwest Houston.
Family members say Cotton was a frequent shopper of the Food Mart. Cotton’s lifeless body was discovered outside the mart Tuesday.
An investigation is pending to determine who stabbed Cotton. His mother, Delores Floyd, is asking that whoever his alleged killer is please turn him or herself in for proper closure.
